Product Development, 3D Printing & Edge Hardware

Product Development & Edge Hardware

You Bring the Idea.

We Build the Hardware.

Priority Only takes products from a sketch on a napkin to a device you can hold, ship, and sell. Industrial design, electronics, firmware, 3D-printed prototypes, and edge AI that runs on the box instead of somebody else’s cloud. We build for startups, small businesses, growing manufacturers, and federal agencies — under one engineering team that owns the outcome.

Who We Build For

Three Kinds of Clients. One Engineering Team.

Most firms pick a lane — consumer startups or federal programs, never both. We run the same shop for both because the discipline that survives a DoD design review is exactly what keeps a first product from failing in the field.

Startups & Founders

Idea → Working Prototype

You have a concept and a deadline. Maybe a raise to close. We turn the idea into CAD, print it, put electronics inside it, and hand you something an investor or a first customer can actually pick up.

No minimum order. No factory tooling bill on day one. We start with one unit and prove it works.

Small & Mid-Size Business

Product Line → Scale

Your product sells but the build costs too much, breaks too often, or leans on a part you can no longer source. We redesign for manufacturing, cut part count, and get the unit cost where the margin works.

Then we add the intelligence — vision, sensing, telemetry — that turns a device into a platform.

Government & Mission Support

B2G / Federal Solutions

Same engineers, federal rules. Rapid prototyping against SBIR and program milestones, NIST 800-53 and CMMC-aligned governance, and documentation packages built for the review board that reads them.

What We Actually Do

Product Development From Scratch.

Four capabilities, one continuous handoff. Nothing gets thrown over a wall to a second vendor.

01  /  Concept to CAD

Product Development From Scratch

We start where you are. A sketch, a spec, a competitor’s product you know you can beat — any of those is enough. From there we run requirements, industrial design, mechanical CAD, tolerance and stress analysis, and design for manufacturability before a single part is cut.

You own the files. Every CAD model, drawing package, schematic, and firmware repository is delivered to you at closeout. No hostage engineering.

02  /  Make It Real

3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping

We print in house. That means a design change in the morning is a part in your hand the next day, not a three-week quote cycle with an outside shop. FDM for fit and function, resin for detail and surface finish, and engineering materials — PETG, ASA, nylon, carbon-fiber-filled nylon, TPU, polycarbonate — when the part has to survive heat, vibration, or the outdoors.

Iteration is the point. Print it, test it, break it, fix the model, print it again. Most enclosures need four or five rounds before they are right, and printing them ourselves is what makes that affordable.

When you are ready for volume, we hand the design to vetted CNC, urethane casting, and injection molding partners in the U.S. and abroad — and we stay on the line through first article inspection.

03  /  Make It Smart

Edge Hardware & On-Device AI

A printed enclosure is a shell until something inside it thinks. We design the board, write the firmware, and put the model on the device — NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi compute modules, ESP32, STM32, and dedicated inference accelerators, selected against your power budget rather than a spec sheet.

Edge-first, on purpose. Computer vision, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance run locally, so the product keeps working when the network drops and your data never leaves the site. That matters on a factory floor. It matters more on a federal one.

Sensor fusion, low-power wireless, secure boot, and over-the-air update paths are designed in from the start — not bolted on after the first recall.

04  /  Make It Shippable

Certification & Production Handoff

A prototype that cannot be certified is a very expensive model. We prepare the bill of materials, assembly documentation, and test procedures your contract manufacturer needs, and we run pre-compliance on FCC, CE, and UL paths before you pay for a full lab cycle.

For federal work we deliver against SBIR phase gates and program milestones, with governance that holds up in an audit.

How It Works

Four Phases. Fixed Scope at Each Gate.

01

Feasibility

We pressure-test the idea against physics, cost, and schedule, then tell you what it will really take. If it should not be built, you hear that here — before the money is spent.

02

Design

Industrial design, mechanical CAD, board schematic, and firmware architecture. You see the product on screen and sign off before anything is cut or printed.

03

Prototype

Printed parts, populated boards, working firmware. We test, revise, and reprint on a weekly loop until fit, function, and durability all pass.

04

Production

Pilot run, manufacturing package, supplier selection, and first article inspection. You leave with a product and every file behind it.

Why Priority Only

Hardware Is Unforgiving. So Are We.

Software forgives a bad decision — you patch it Friday and no one remembers by Monday. Hardware does not. A wrong tolerance becomes a tooling change, and a tooling change becomes a quarter. We were trained in environments where a schedule slip is not recoverable, and we design like it.

That is why a founder with one idea and a federal program office get the same team. The stakes are different. The standard is not.

In-House Speed

Our own printers, our own bench. Revisions in days, not quote cycles.

Partner Scale

Vetted CNC, casting, and injection molding partners when volume arrives.

Edge-First AI

Inference on the device. Works offline, keeps your data on site.

You Own It

CAD, schematics, firmware, and documentation delivered at closeout.

Bring Us the Sketch.

Thirty minutes, no charge. Tell us what you are trying to build and we will tell you what it takes — scope, rough cost, and how fast you can be holding version one.
